Career Strategies is seeking a dependable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team at a well-maintained apartment community in Jeffersonville, IN. Responsibilities:
- Complete apartment make-readies and unit turns
- Respond to and complete resident service requests in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Perform general carpentry, painting, drywall, and miscellaneous maintenance
- Assist with preventative maintenance throughout the community
- Maintain clean, safe, and attractive grounds and common areas
- Assist with snow removal during the winter months as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance experience required
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, and general maintenance
- HVAC troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred (certification not required)
- Must have your own basic maintenance tools
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
