Job Description
As an Armed Security Officer - Hospital Patrol - Overnight Shift in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post, offering the chance to support people first while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity through every interaction.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical-related calls for assistance, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism in an armed post.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities according to site procedures.
- Work collaboratively with site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership during emergencies, alarms, investigations, and other security-related events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess supervisory experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
