Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Assistant Property Manager to join our residential management team in Brooklyn Heights. This is a frontline position supporting a large co-op community, requiring excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily building operations and resident services
  • Draft clear, concise memos, notices, and correspondence
  • Manage resident inquiries with patience, empathy, and prompt follow-through
  • Assist with move-ins, move-outs, work orders, and maintenance coordination
  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and compliance documentation
  • Work closely with management, maintenance staff, and board members
  • Provide exceptional front-office support and uphold community standards

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of residential property management experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish or Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
  • Outstanding customer-service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong writing skills — able to communicate professionally and clearly
  • Excellent computer proficiency, including:
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Building Link
  • Zoom and MS Teams
  • General office software (Word, Outlook, PDF tools)
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic

Preferred

  • Experience working in co-ops, condos, or large residential buildings
  • Familiarity with NYC housing regulations and building operations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
