- Location: Huntington Beach, CA
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Start Time: 6:00 AM – 6:30 AM
- Pay Rate: $20.00 – $22.00/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility in Huntington Beach, CA. This position is responsible for performing routine cleaning duties, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting the overall upkeep of the building and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows safety procedures, and works well independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and empty trash receptacles
- Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces
- Maintain floors by buffing, waxing, or polishing when required
- Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report maintenance or repair issues to management
- Assist with setting up and cleaning workspaces, meeting rooms, or production areas
- Maintain outdoor areas around the facility when needed
- Ensure the facility remains clean, organized, and presentable at all times
Qualifications
- Previous custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, or walk for extended periods
- High school diploma or GED preferred
