Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and badge activity, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points for the residential location, verify visitor and/or vendor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent access control practices.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and/or incident records, and support daily security-related operations with clear communication and professional presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
