Our client, a leading organization in the distribution and logistics industry, is seeking a Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the operational excellence of the distribution center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Facilities and Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: Lithia Springs, GA
Pay Range: $30/hour
Shift: 1st shift
What's the Job?
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on conveyor line equipment and supporting systems.
- Manage inventory of spare parts to ensure equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
- Conduct minor building maintenance tasks to support a safe and functional work environment.
- Interface with internal departments and coordinate with outside contractors and vendors to complete maintenance projects safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment history.
What's Needed?
- Strong technical and operational knowledge of conveyor line automation and supporting equipment systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot conveyor automation and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in a high-volume distribution environment.
- Proficiency in pneumatics and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
