What’s a typical day as a Quality Technician? You’ll be:
- Reviewing and auditing production and material records to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Verifying product conformance by assessing documentation, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Accurately documenting findings using Microsoft Excel and Word to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborating with the Quality Manager to report trends, discrepancies, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED (technical training preferred).
- Bring 1–3 years of experience in quality, auditing, or manufacturing support (automotive or related industries a plus).
- Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.
- Possess strong attention to detail and can interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
- Are familiar with quality systems such as ISO 9001 (preferred but not required).
