Job Summary:

Liffey Van Lines Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Storage Manager to oversee our storage operations. The Storage Manager will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the security of stored items, and providing exceptional customer service while adhering to safety and operational standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to optimize storage processes to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations of the storage facility, ensuring efficient management of inventory and space utilization.

- Develop and implement storage procedures and policies to enhance operational efficiency and security.

- Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations, fostering a productive work environment.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards to protect both employees and customers.

- Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory, including arrival, storage, and dispatch of items.

- Handle customer inquiries and concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues efficiently.

- Coordinate maintenance and inspections of storage facilities to ensure cleanliness and security.

- Collaborate with other departments within Liffey Van Lines Inc to optimize overall operational workflows.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in storage management or inventory control, preferably in the moving and storage industry.

- Proven leadership and team management skills.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Proficient in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.
