Job Title: Maintenance Worker
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Worker to assist our team. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning and appearance of our facilities. Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach to solving maintenance issues will help us maintain a safe and comfortable environment for all. (MUST BE 18+)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential maintenance issues.- Perform a wide range of repair tasks, including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and HVAC system maintenance.- Address and resolve maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.- Maintain inventory and ensure the proper functioning of tools and equipment.- Collaborate with management to plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules.- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and compliance with safety standards.- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report on performance to the management team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance worker, technician, or other similar roles. - Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems helpful but not required.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.- Good verbal and written communication skills.- Physical stamina and dexterity to lift heavy objects and perform tasks that require crouching or standing for extended periods.- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends. Possible evenings if necessary.
- A valid driver's license required, depending on the location and specific job requirements - MUST BE AT LEAST 18yrs. old - Willing to train the right person on certain skills necessary but some experience is required
