Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on production machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Inspect equipment and identify potential problems or safety concerns
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Assist with installation and setup of new equipment
- Collaborate with production teams to support operational efficiency
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gears, and 230v wiring
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and reporting
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
