Job Description
Job DescriptioncFocus Software seeks a Data Engineer to join our program supporting the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This position is on site in the Washington DC, MD, & VA area. This position requires a TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance.
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI + CI Polygraph clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field with 4-12+ years of data engineering experience
- Proficient in SQL and programming languages (Python, Scala, Java)
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouses
Duties:
- Implements data integration solutions connecting disparate data sources.
- Optimizes data workflows for performance and reliability.
- Ensures data quality, consistency, and security.
- Works with data scientists and analysts to support analytical requirements.
- Implement data governance and metadata management practices.
