Maintenance Technician – Commercial Property
Olen is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our Commercial Property team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of our commercial properties. This position requires a proactive individual with experience in general repairs, office refurbishment and interior/exterior building maintenance repairs.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs. These tasks can include, but are not limited to, repairing or replacing:
- Minor plumbing - sinks, toilets and/or water heaters
- Minor electrical – lights, ballasts
- Minor carpentry – door frames, locking doorknobs, baseboards, and finishings
- Identify and repair roof leaks.
- Respond to emergency calls after scheduled work hours, weekends, and holidays, when needed.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
- Perform other general maintenance tasks, as assigned.
*Other duties may be assigned in support of departmental goals
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of related maintenance experience preferred.
Key Competencies/Skills:
- Experience in light construction including drywall repair, ceiling repair, electrical/plumbing work, and painting, etc.
- Must have a clean DMV driving record and current automobile insurance coverage.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle and small tools.
- Ability and knowledge to work with small hand tools.
- Effective problem solving and time management skills.
- Able to work weekends and after hours, when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time (8-hour shift), Monday – Friday, with weekends and evenings as needed
Location: Central Orange County
Compensation: $26.00 - $30.00/hr DOE
