In the role of Python Architect/Engineer, you will lead the development of a client reporting platform that integrates fixed income analytics, large-scale data, and proprietary research. The platform supports real-time portfolio management and risk assessment, emphasizing intuitive user experience and seamless integration across both internal and external systems.
This is a full-time opportunity. Candidates MUST be able to work directly on a W2 basis without sponsorship and cannot engage through another company or on a C2C basis.

Key Responsibilities:
\n Develop and support reporting templates utilizing Python, pandas, and SQL.
\n Create and fine-tune SQL queries within PostgreSQL.
\n Build RESTful APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
\n Implement caching solutions with Redis.
\n Oversee CI/CD processes (e.g., GitHub Actions).
\n Leverage AWS tools (Lambda, S3) for workflow orchestration.
\n Diagnose and enhance cloud service performance.
\n Partner with cross-functional stakeholders.
\n
Required Skills:
\n 6+ years of hands-on experience with core Python development.
\n Strong proficiency in pandas for data processing.
\n Experience writing SQL queries, specifically in PostgreSQL.
\n Background in REST API development.
\n Familiarity with markup languages (HTML/XML).
\n Basic knowledge of caching concepts or Redis.
\n Experience using Git and CI/CD platforms.
\n
Nice to Have:
\n Background in the financial sector, particularly fixed income or bonds, is a strong plus but not required.
\n Experience with AWS services (Lambda, S3, CloudWatch).
\n Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
\n Familiarity with Docker.
\n Experience working with financial datasets or client reporting solutions.
