Job Title: Lead Maintenance Technician (Bilingual) – Apartment Community
Location: Fort Myers, FL
Pay: Competitive Pay (Based on Experience) | Weekly Pay

Now Hiring: Lead Maintenance Technician

Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician for apartment communities in Fort Myers, FL. We are looking for a motivated leader with strong troubleshooting skills who can oversee daily maintenance operations while delivering excellent service to residents.

If you have extensive apartment maintenance experience, are EPA Universal certified, and are bilingual in English and Spanish, we'd like to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform HVAC diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
  • Complete resident work orders promptly and professionally.
  • Oversee and assist with apartment turns (make-readies).
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, drywall, appliances, and carpentry issues.
  • Assist in supervising and training maintenance staff.
  • Maintain the property's curb appeal, grounds, and common areas.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and inventory.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of apartment maintenance experience REQUIRED.
  • EPA Universal Certification REQUIRED.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) REQUIRED.
  • Previous experience in a Lead Maintenance or Maintenance Supervisor role preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and general maintenance.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification is a plus.
  • Experience with property management software is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
