As a Security Officer Patrol Detail in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will contribute to daily operations with a people-first mindset, teamwork, reliability, and integrity while bringing an agile and innovative approach to each shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or customers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with appropriate contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the interior and exterior of the location, including surrounding grounds, entrances, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter disruptions, observe for suspicious behavior, and support established visitor and employee access practices.
- Complete routine reports and logs related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or observed conditions, and communicate security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
