About the Company: Jefferson Hospital has a well-equipped emergency room, which utilizes hospital staff and contract physicians. Support services are provided for both inpatients and outpatients and
the scope of service is consistent with the current mission of the hospital to provide quality community-based primary health care to Jefferson and surrounding counties.
Job Description: The Hospital House Supervisor serves as the administrative and clinical leaderin the absence of administration. This role ensures safe patient care, efficient operations, appropriate staffing, and supports ongoing clinical education for nursing
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversee hospital operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth patient flow for admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Make real-time staffing adjustments based on census, acuity, and available personnel.
- Coordinate with ancillary services (lab, radiology, pharmacy) to maintain timely patient care.
- Act as a clinical resource for nursing staff across multiple departments (ER, Med-Surg, BHU if applicable).
- Provide hands-on support in high-acuity situations due to limited specialty coverage.
- Serve as the primary liaison between staff, physicians, patients, and families during assigned shifts and during on-call shifts.
- Manages staffing schedules
- Facilitate on-the-job education and competency reinforcement for nursing staff.
Position Requirements:
- Graduate from a state approved school of nursing
- BSN or MSN preferred
- Licensed RN in the state of Georgia
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Must be available to work every other weekend and participate in on-call rotation

This bonus totals $3,000, paid in increments:
- $1,000 after completing 3 months of employment
- $1,000 after completing 6 months of employment
- $1,000 after completing 12 months of employment
