Job Description
Cloud Infrastructure Engineer | Security Data Platform | SF Hybrid (1 day a week)
\n
\n
A fast-growing security data platform helping teams investigate threats across large volumes of log data quickly and cost-effectively, with data staying inside the customer's own cloud environment.
\n
\n
Backed by top tier VCs, early stage, with real customers and strong traction. The backend is built for speed and scale, deployed directly into each customer's own cloud account.
\n
\n
The Role
\n
This is a builder seat - you're standing up and owning the cloud infrastructure the product actually lives in, not maintaining something someone else architected. Every customer gets their own isolated cloud environment, so IAM, multi-account setup, and clean IaC are core to how the product ships.
\n
\n
Specifically:
\n
- \n
- Designing and building AWS infrastructure from scratch across customer environments
- Owning Terraform and Pulumi as the core IaC tooling
- Making infra decisions with a cloud-native mindset, no on-prem carryover
- Working closely with a small, senior team as the product and customer base scales
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Who they're looking for
\n
- \n
- Genuine hands-on experience building AWS infrastructure, not just working within infra someone else set up
- Real proficiency in both Terraform and Pulumi
- Cloud-native thinking by default
- Bonus: Kubernetes depth, CI/CD ownership, observability tooling (Datadog/Prometheus/Grafana), Go or Python, data infra exposure (ClickHouse, Postgres)
- Based in or around the SF Bay area
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
Additional details
\n
- \n
- Onsite, SF Bay Area
- US work authorized only
