Detail-oriented Data Center Technician specializing in structured cabling, rack and stack, and physical layer infrastructure within enterprise and hyperscale environments. Experienced in installing, routing, terminating, labeling, and testing copper and fiber optic cabling to support servers, network devices, and storage systems. Proficient in maintaining organized cable management systems to ensure optimal airflow, performance, and scalability.
Skilled in reading network diagrams, following industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI), and performing troubleshooting on physical connectivity issues. Adept at working in fast-paced data center environments while adhering to strict safety, security, and change management protocols. Strong understanding of patch panel configuration, cross-connects, cable tracing, and documentation updates within DCIM systems.
