Job Description
As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol in Monmouth, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in job state. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or delivery documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Support screening and access procedures for employees, contractors, and guests entering production, warehouse, and administrative areas within the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including parking areas, gates, and receiving zones, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
