As an IT Project Financial Analyst II, you will provide project and portfolio financial management (budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting) across a book of IT projects. Working as part of a central, funding-aligned team, you will independently own the financial picture for assigned projects and partner closely with PMO leaders, project managers, and Finance so that project managers can focus on delivery. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone fluent in project financials who is comfortable turning data into clear, decision-ready reporting.\n\nResponsibilities/Expectations:\n•\tConsult on budgets, monthly forecasts (estimate-at-completion), and cash-flow / spend curves for a book of assigned IT projects\n•\tAnalyze project financial performance by understanding how to track actuals against plan, identifying variances, and provide insights and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders\n•\tManage analysis of multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining accurate records around complex workflows\n•\tSupport the Project Change Request (PCR) process by evaluating and quantifying financial impacts, risks, and funding requirements associated with proposed changes\n•\tPartner with Finance to support capital vs. expense classification, capitalization activities, funding requests, accruals and the monthly close process\n•\tMonitor project financial risks, trends, and performance indicators, proactively escalating concerns and recommending mitigation strategies for the PMO and IT leadership\n•\tMaintain financial reports, dashboards, and supporting documentation to uphold data integrity and reporting standards\n•\tEnsure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of project financial data throughout the project lifecycle while adhering to PMO governance

•\tHigh school diploma/GED with equivalent experience or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related major and minimum two (2) years of experience in project financial analysis, FP&A, cost analysis, or project controls\n•\tDemonstrated experience owning budgets and forecasts for a portfolio of projects\n•\tWorking knowledge of project-accounting concepts (capital vs. expense, capitalization, estimate-at-completion forecasting)\n•\tExperience with enterprise ERP / project-accounting systems (Oracle or similar)\n•\tPreferred: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; hands-on experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI\n•\tComfort with AI-powered productivity and analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot), and the curiosity to apply them to financial analysis and reporting, is a plus\n•\tStrong written and verbal communication; able to partner effectively across the PMO, IT, and Finance\n•\tSelf-directed and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines\n•\tProficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and Power BI\n•\tDemonstrates familiarity with and application of Project Life Cycle

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $53.00/hr.
