- Duration: 12-month contract
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid — four days onsite and one day remote
- Compensation: $35.00–$40.00 per hour

Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Release Management Coordinator to support the planning, governance, coordination, and execution of software releases across multiple digital technology teams. This role will maintain release schedules, coordinate deployment activities, track readiness requirements, support change-request administration, and ensure documentation, approvals, and testing signoffs are completed before production releases. The coordinator will help strengthen release governance, cross-team communication, production stability, and continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and facilitate release-readiness meetings.
- Maintain release schedules, calendars, deployment records, and governance documentation.
- Track sprint-to-release alignment across multiple technical teams.
- Coordinate deployment activities and cross-functional release schedules.
- Prepare and manage Change Request and Change Advisory Board documentation.
- Follow up on approvals, testing signoffs, documentation, and deployment-readiness requirements.
- Monitor release dependencies, risks, action items, and deadlines.
- Coordinate communications before, during, and after production releases.
- Track release performance metrics and prepare executive-level reports.
- Support environment-refresh and deployment-scheduling activities.
- Coordinate handoffs between project teams and production-support teams.
- Document release outcomes, lessons learned, and recommended process improvements.
- Maintain audit evidence and ensure required release documentation is complete.
Qualifications
- Experience coordinating IT projects, software releases, deployments, change-management activities, or similar technical initiatives.
- Experience managing schedules, deadlines, action items, documentation, and cross-functional dependencies.
- Demonstrated experience working with technical teams or within structured operational environments.
- Strong organizational, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, drive accountability, and follow up on outstanding activities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong customer-service mindset and ability to work effectively across teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, or similar workflow and change-management tools.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with release management, change management, deployment coordination, or production-support processes.
- Experience supporting Change Advisory Board meetings or Change Request administration.
