An international plant-based food manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. At least 3 years of experience as a manufacturing mechanic (food manufacturing preferred but not required).
- $25 - 27/hr. Plus full benefits
- Monday and Wednesday – Saturday 06:00 a.m. – 03:00 p.m. (Tuesday and Sunday off) First 3 months, Monday – Friday 08:00 a.m. – 05:00 p.m.
- Somerset, NJ
Requirements of the Maintenance Supervisor:
- High school diploma required; technical school preferred
- At least 3 years of manufacturing mechanic experience
- Skills in plumbing, wiring, welding, and drilling
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong problem‐solving and multitasking
- Good communication, logic, and attention to detail
- Able to read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics
- Experience replacing motors, belts, bearings, pulleys, sprockets, chains, cylinders, etc.
- Ability to work with contractors, get quotes, schedule work, and check completed jobs.
- Ability to find and make improvements that increase production efficiency.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Supervisor:
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Assign and supervise maintenance staff.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facility systems.
- Create and complete maintenance work orders.
- Repair and maintain motors, pumps, and other equipment.
- Assist with repairs and overhauls of production machinery.
Employment Type: Direct Hire
