HVAC Maintenance Technician – Apartment Industry

Are you an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician looking to join a fast-paced apartment community? We are seeking dependable, skilled technicians who take pride in their work and are committed to providing excellent service to residents while helping maintain a safe and attractive community.

This is a hands-on position that requires strong HVAC troubleshooting skills, general maintenance knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Complete HVAC diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
  • Respond to and complete resident service requests (work orders) in a timely manner.
  • Perform apartment make-ready turns, including repairs and inspections to prepare units for new residents.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, and carpentry issues as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the property, including grounds and common areas.
  • Pick up debris and report safety hazards throughout the community.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation when required.

Qualifications

  • EPA Certification (Universal preferred) required.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and general maintenance.
  • Ability to complete make-readies efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
