HVAC Maintenance Technician – Apartment Industry
Are you an experienced HVAC Maintenance Technician looking to join a fast-paced apartment community? We are seeking dependable, skilled technicians who take pride in their work and are committed to providing excellent service to residents while helping maintain a safe and attractive community.
This is a hands-on position that requires strong HVAC troubleshooting skills, general maintenance knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Complete HVAC diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Respond to and complete resident service requests (work orders) in a timely manner.
- Perform apartment make-ready turns, including repairs and inspections to prepare units for new residents.
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, and carpentry issues as needed.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the property, including grounds and common areas.
- Pick up debris and report safety hazards throughout the community.
- Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards.
- Participate in an on-call rotation when required.
Qualifications
- EPA Certification (Universal preferred) required.
- Minimum 1-3 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and general maintenance.
- Ability to complete make-readies efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
