Questions you might be asking What impact will I make?
You’ll synchronize commercial HVAC projects—aligning scope, schedule, cost, quality, and communication so delivery is timely, on budget, and to spec. You’ll be the coordination hub for customers, vendors, and internal teams.
What will I manage day to day?
- Translate mechanical drawings/specifications into coordinated actions and work packages.
- Plan and coordinate technical activities to keep projects on track.
- Oversee timelines, tasks, and deliverables across multiple concurrent commercial jobs.
- Facilitate communication across customers, vendors, PMs, and internal departments.
- Administer schedules, budgets, documentation, vendor relationships, change orders, risk logs, and issue resolution.
- Monitor progress and performance against scope, schedule, budget, and quality benchmarks.
- Participate in quality control and drive closure of quality-related items.
- Support larger initiatives that span more than one project.
- Maintain precise records and updates to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Pitch in with other operational tasks as needed.

Customers, vendors, project managers, engineers, and cross-functional teammates—communicating in person, by phone, and in writing to keep everyone aligned.
What skills help me succeed?
- Sheet metal estimating experience in HVAC/mechanical contracting or manufacturing environments.
- Customer service and sales skills; relationship building with internal and external stakeholders.
- Estimating software proficiency (e.g., Quote Express or similar).
- ERP familiarity (such as QAD or comparable platforms).
- Windows fluency with Microsoft Office—especially Excel and Outlook.
- PDF review/markup proficiency using Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam.
- Clear grasp of role objectives and responsibilities.
- High standards for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and independent execution.
- Dependable follow-through and time/workload management.
- Concise, organized written and verbal communication.
- Proactive mindset with sound judgment and creative problem-solving.
- Collaborative, respectful teammate who uplifts group results.
- Technical rigor with a growth mindset for ongoing learning.
What experience is preferred?
- Takeoffs, sheet metal ductwork for fabrication, or prior project coordination in a manufacturing/industrial context.

No certifications or licenses are required.
What tools will I use?
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Estimating platforms (Quote Express or similar)
- ERP solutions (QAD or equivalent)
- Adobe Acrobat and/or Bluebeam
