Now Hiring: Certified Maintenance Technician – Dallas, TX 75234
Pay: $23/hr | Schedule: Monday through Friday
Contract or Contract-to-Hire Opportunity
BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Dallas, TX 75234. We are looking for an experienced HVAC Technician with heat pump experience who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance work and exceptional service to residents.
Responsibilities
- Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.
- Perform skilled maintenance tasks, including:
- HVAC troubleshooting and repair (EPA certification required)
- Heat pump diagnostics, repair, and maintenance
- Electrical repairs
- Plumbing repairs
- Appliance diagnostics and repair
- Carpentry and general maintenance
- Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparation.
- Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities.
- Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards.
Requirements
- EPA or HVAC certification required.
- Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred.
- Heat pump experience required.
- Strong knowledge of general and advanced maintenance functions.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Additional Information
- Attire: Polo shirt with black shorts or black pants (preferred, but not required).
- Opportunity: Temp-to-hire potential. The property's current Maintenance Technician is on medical leave, and a strong performer may be hired on permanently. If hired, there may also be opportunities to transfer to another property within the portfolio.
