Job Description
The Columbus Family YMCA is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Building Supervisor to serve as the Manager on Duty during evenings and weekends. This position plays an important role in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-operated facility for members, guests, and staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising facility operations during assigned shifts
- Opening and/or closing the facility
- Responding to member concerns and emergencies
- Supporting staff across departments
- Ensuring YMCA policies and safety procedures are followed
- Maintaining a clean, secure, and welcoming environment
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain)
