Apartment Maintenance Technician
Location: Rochester, NY
Pay: Up to $22/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Career Strategies is hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Rochester, NY!
This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance professional who enjoys working independently and takes ownership of their property. As the sole maintenance technician on-site, you'll play a key role in keeping the community clean, safe, and operating efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner
- Perform apartment turns and make-readies
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and basic appliance issues
- Maintain the grounds and exterior appearance of the property
- Clean common areas and help keep the building well maintained
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents
- Prioritize tasks and work independently throughout the day
Qualifications:
- Previous apartment maintenance experience required
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, and general maintenance
- Basic appliance repair experience preferred
- Comfortable performing groundskeeping and building cleaning duties
- Ability to work independently and manage daily maintenance responsibilities
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position offering competitive pay of up to $22/hour, weekly pay, and an opportunity to join a professional property management team.
