Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (ABET-accredited).
- Passed or working towards passing Fundamentals Exam (FE) through NCEES.
- General knowledge of residential structural systems and construction methods.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Technical Design & Documentation:
- Develop structural designs and prepare construction documents (roof, floor, foundation plans).
- Prepare structural details and specifications.
- Review drawings for accuracy and code compliance.
- Additional areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to are structural calculations, shop drawing reviews, field repairs, permit and plan review responsibilities.
Project Coordination:
- Manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Maintain schedules and meet production deadlines.
- Maintain accountability for timelines and deliverables.
Client & Team Coordination:
- Collaborate with other Engineers, Project Managers, Structural Drafters, and the Architecture Department as needed on shared client/project work.
- Maintain timely and professional communication throughout all project phases.
