Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Management in Lexington, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible and professional presence. You will support daily operations with strong communication, customer service, and attention to detail while using teamwork, integrity, and innovation to create a welcoming experience for employees, visitors, and guests.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, and security-related policies at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or permissions, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas such as production, warehouse, and administrative spaces.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting security-related concerns.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, facility issues, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and access records related to arrivals, departures, deliveries, and/or other site activity in support of daily operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
