About the job
The Janitor II is responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout office and industrial facilities, ensuring workspaces remain safe, sanitary, and organized. This role supports daily operations by handling cleaning tasks, stocking supplies, assisting with facility upkeep, and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
We're looking for someone who
● Has a high school diploma or equivalent
● Maintains clean and organized office and industrial workspaces
● Works well independently with minimal supervision
● Communicates effectively with team members and staff
● Demonstrates strong time management and prioritization skills
● Is dependable, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
● Can assist with scheduling facility repairs and maintenance
● Keeps cleaning supplies stocked and submits replenishment requests
● Supports large cleaning or facility-related projects as needed
● Helps maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe facility environment
● Assists with recycling and waste removal when needed
● Is comfortable using janitorial equipment and cleaning products
● Works well in a team-oriented environment
What you'll do
● Clean and maintain office and industrial work areas
● Maintain restroom cleanliness and sanitation standards
● Remove trash, recycling, and waste materials
● Perform routine and deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
● Monitor and restock janitorial and restroom supplies
● Support facility maintenance coordination and repair scheduling
● Assist with special cleaning projects and facility initiatives
● Help maintain a safe, organized, and hygienic workplace
● Communicate facility or maintenance concerns to leadership
● Support recycling efforts and other operational needs
Physical requirements
● Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
● Must be comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
● Must be able to perform repetitive cleaning and maintenance tasks
● Must be comfortable bending, reaching, and moving throughout the facility
