Job Title: Maintenance Technician Location: Kansas City, MO
Hours/Schedule: 2nd Shift TBD Compensation: $29/hour
Performs maintenance and repairs on production and facility equipment to reduce downtime and support operational efficiency. This role troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems while ensuring compliance with safety, OSHA, and GMP standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced in industrial maintenance.
Responsibilities:

Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs on production equipment

Troubleshoot machinery, PLC systems, and facility support equipment

Inspect, test, and validate repairs; complete and document work orders

Assist with equipment changeovers and line startups

Maintain parts inventory and ensure equipment readiness

Follow all safety procedures and participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives

Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
2–3 years industrial maintenance or mechanical/electrical experience

Ability to lift 50–80 lbs and perform repetitive motions

Comfortable climbing ladders, using lifts, and working at heights

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Able to work in non-air-conditioned environments and around oils, greases, and vibration
