Job Description
As a Security Officer Driver Credential Screening in Baldwinsville, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location as an Access Control professional in a driving post. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, process visitor check-in activities, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and other security-related issues within production, warehouse, and parking areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
