Software Support Specialist in Maitland, Florida

Job Overview:
AYA ASSOCIATES INC., a 48-year-old Software Technology Company located in Maitland Florida, with a World-class ERP Business Management, Installations, and Accounting Software System, is hiring a Software Support Specialist. We will provide extensive training on our proprietary Comp-U-Floor® Web & Mobile ERP System for the desired candidate to perform the above role.
Candidate Required Qualifications:
This Candidate must bring excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Other qualifications include:
· Associates Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Accounting, or relevant field preferred, but not required based on comparable business experience.
· Communicate verbally and in writing to explain any software system related problem and assist with a resolution.
· Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products.
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems: Windows and Cloud platforms.
· Business Retailing or Distribution Systems experience is a plus: point-of-sale, invoicing, inventory, purchasing, accounts receivables and payables, plus some business accounting.
· Knowledge of Microsoft SQL and development of scripts is required.
The ideal Candidate must also be customer-oriented and bring a professional and ethical background, capable of meeting our demanding client-relationship protocols. The goal is to assist our Company in maintaining a satisfied client base by providing top professional support, and preserving our Comp-U-Floor ERP Software well-established brand.
Responsibilities:
· Be a member of the Software Development Team, which entails:
- Providing software support to our existing clients on our Comp-U-Floor Web & Mobile ERP system, via telephone or electronically, through our automated 'Team Support' software system,
- Documenting in detail any software issues reported by the clients, analyzing the nature of the software issue, and providing a satisfactory resolution.
- Using Microsoft SQL diagnostic and query tools to analyze the Client's Comp-U-Floor database and determine the nature of the reported issue, when necessary.
- Keeping abreast of announcements, and new features added to the Comp-U-Floor ERP on new software releases, and provide basic training.
- Escalate any Comp-U-Floor Software issues to the second-tier support level, in those instances where a software error is detected.
Compensation, Benefits, and Terms of Employment:
This position requires a full-time staff member working under an excellent and highly professional work-environment, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Salary Range: $40K to $60K with periodic salary reviews, standard vacation and sick-leave benefits to be discussed in greater detail during the interview process.
