Maintenance Technician (Temporary, Part-Time)
Location: Shreveport, LA 71118
Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
Position Overview
We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and experienced in performing general maintenance and repair work.
Responsibilities
- Complete routine maintenance and repair tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs.
- Complete preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Report major repair needs to management.
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting.
Compensation & Schedule
- Up to $21.00 per hour
- Temporary position
- Part-time schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
