Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Fleet Maintenance Technician C to assist with routine service and basic repairs on our fleet. This is an entry to mid-level position focused on preventative maintenance, inspections, and keeping equipment in good working condition.This role is essential for keeping our operations running efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on fleet equipment (oil changes, filters, fluid checks, greasing, etc.)
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential issues
- Complete basic repairs and assist senior mechanics as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas
- Collaborate with the maintenance manager to schedule and prioritize maintenance needs.
- Accurately document maintenance and inspection records
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and procedures on equipment or vehicles
- Basic mechanical knowledge (diesel and gas engines preferred)
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Physical ability to perform some heavy lifting, bending, and other physically demanding tasks
- Valid drivers license (CDL not required, but a plus)
