Operations Manager – Commercial Plumbing Company
Location: Warren, RI
Position: Full-Time
A well-established commercial plumbing contractor based in Warren, Rhode Island is seeking an
experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office and support our
construction projects. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional with a strong
construction background who understands the unique requirements of commercial projects, certified
payroll, and union compliance.

Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day office operations.
• Process weekly payroll, including certified payroll for prevailing wage projects.
• Prepare and submit union reports, benefit contributions, and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with prevailing wage, labor, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, field personnel, customers, subcontractors, and
vendors.
• Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, and compliance records.
• Assist with scheduling, project administration, and office workflow.
• Maintain employee records and onboarding documentation.
• Support company leadership with operational planning and reporting.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction administration or
operations.
• Experience with certified payroll, prevailing wage reporting, and union paperwork is
required.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing and construction office procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with QuickBooks and construction accounting
software is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
