Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour (DOE)

We're seeking a detail-oriented Testing Laboratory Technician to join our team in Anaheim, CA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on laboratory work, operates with precision, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
In this role, you'll support the testing group by generating accurate test data in accordance with ASTM and other industry standards. You'll operate universal testing machines, including MTS and Instron systems, while helping ensure high-quality testing services for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical testing in accordance with ASTM and other applicable standards.
- Operate universal testing machines such as MTS, Instron, and similar equipment.
- Generate accurate testing data and maintain detailed laboratory records.
- Ensure inspection plans and testing data are accurate within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Support product evaluation activities for internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, lab supervisors, and other departments to meet project objectives.
- Maintain complete, audit-ready documentation for all testing activities.
- Follow "clean as you go" housekeeping practices and maintain a safe, organized laboratory.
- Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) reduction activities.
- Assist with continuous improvement efforts to increase laboratory efficiency and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating universal testing machines such as MTS, Instron, Zwick, or similar equipment.
- Experience using testing software such as Test Suite, Bluehill, TestXpert, or comparable data acquisition systems.
- Knowledge of composite materials and matrix/reinforcement technologies.
- Experience with composite panel fabrication or machining is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Familiarity with laboratory documentation, database management, and testing processes.
