Part-time Groundsperson for an Apartment Complex, 32 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8AM-1PM - year-round position, not seasonal
Maintains public and common areas of property in a clean, neat and attractive condition.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Weeding, Cleanup of branches and leaves
- Shoveling/Salting in the winter months. Extended working hours should be anticipated to meet seasonal issues.
- Small amount of furniture and appliance moving as necessary
- Clean areas around Dumpsters and in Basements
- Pulling/removing old carpets and sweeping after
- Understand MSDS sheets and safe work practices
- Comply with OSHA, EPA, and DEC requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
- Must have prior general grounds experience and basic mechanical aptitude.
- Must be reliable, dedicated, and trustworthy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- A Valid driver's license and dependable transportation is required.
