Leading Edge Before & After School Programs is seeking passionate, creative, and driven leaders to join our District 38 leadership team for the upcoming school year.
Our Site Directors are more than supervisors-they are culture builders, mentors, curriculum leaders, and trusted partners within their school communities. They create safe, engaging, and enriching environments where students can learn, grow, and thrive beyond the school day.

Start Date & Training
Site Directors will begin with paid orientation and training the week prior to the start of the 2026–2027 school year. The Lewis-Palmer School District school year begins on August 12, 2026, and your training schedule will be shared after hire. Training dates, times, and locations will be provided as part of your onboarding process.
Training includes:
- Program operations
- Colorado licensing requirements
- Student safety and risk management
- Curriculum planning and enrichment
- Leadership development
- Leading Edge culture and expectations
Position Details
Site Director
Lewis-Palmer School District 38 (Monument, Colorado)
Full-Time | 30 Hours Per Week
Typical School-Year Schedule
Monday–Friday
Morning Program: 6:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Afternoon Program: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Schedules may vary slightly by school location.
Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience
Biweekly pay every other Friday
What You'll Do
Site Directors are responsible for leading high-quality before and after school programs while creating positive experiences for students, families, staff, and school partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily before and after school program operations
- Train, mentor, and support site staff
- Create engaging enrichment activities and curriculum
- Maintain compliance with Colorado child care licensing requirements
- Ensure student safety and appropriate staff-to-student ratios
- Build positive relationships with families and school administrators
- Complete attendance, licensing, and program documentation
- Foster a welcoming, structured, and inclusive program culture
- Support student growth through meaningful learning experiences
Curriculum Leadership
At Leading Edge, Site Directors have the opportunity to be creative while maintaining consistency across our programs.
Each month, Directors receive themed curriculum resources designed to encourage creativity, engagement, and student success. Site Directors are encouraged to tailor activities to the interests of their students while aligning with our monthly themes and enrichment standards.
Programming is built around our six core enrichment labs:
- Challenge Lab
- Art Enrichment Lab
- Homework Lab
- Physical Lab
- Reading Lab
- STEM Lab
Our Site Directors work closely with students, families, school staff, and district partners to ensure every program remains engaging, responsive, and impactful.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum one year of leadership experience in education, youth development, recreation, or licensed child care
- Minimum two years of experience working with school-age children
- Must meet (or be able to meet) Colorado State Child Care Licensing qualifications for a Site Director
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Comfortable using technology and web-based systems
- Reliable transportation between assigned school locations as needed

Our Hiring Process
Selected applicants will first participate in a virtual screening interview with our Recruiting Team through Zoom. Invitations are sent via email.
Candidates selected to move forward will then interview with District leadership.
