Senior AV Project Manager – Commercial & Residential AV Integration
Location: Westbury, NY
Travel: Primarily project sites throughout Manhattan and the New York metropolitan area, with occasional travel to our Miami office and Florida projects.

We are a growing audiovisual integration company specializing in commercial and high-end residential AV systems. Our projects include conference rooms, boardrooms, executive offices, collaboration spaces, distributed audio, video walls, digital signage, control systems, home theaters, whole-home audio, and integrated smart technology solutions.
With offices in New York and Miami, we're expanding our operations and are looking for an experienced Senior AV Project Manager to help lead projects from award through completion.
Our headquarters is conveniently located in Westbury, Long Island, with easy access to the Long Island Rail Road, making travel to Manhattan project sites simple and efficient.

Position Summary
The Senior AV Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple commercial and residential AV integration projects from kickoff through completion. You'll work closely with ownership, customers, architects, designers, general contractors, field technicians, programmers, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial and residential AV projects from contract award through project completion.
- Develop project schedules and coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Lead project kickoff meetings and maintain project timelines.
- Work closely with field supervisors, technicians, programmers, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.
- Communicate regularly with customers, architects, designers, consultants, and general contractors.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
- Manage project budgets, change orders, billing milestones, and overall project profitability.
- Coordinate programming, commissioning, testing, client training, and final project closeout.
- Identify potential project risks early and develop proactive solutions.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships throughout every phase of the project.
- Travel to project sites throughout the New York metropolitan area and occasionally to our Miami office and Florida projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing commercial AV integration projects.
- Experience with high-end residential AV projects is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of commercial AV systems, installation practices, and construction processes.
- Ability to read construction drawings, AV system documentation, and project specifications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- CTS certification is a plus.
- Experience with Crestron, Q-SYS, Control4, Savant, Extron, Biamp, or similar AV platforms is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
