As our Maintenance Technician, you will be the go-to person for keeping both our warehouse facility and our unique inventory of event rental equipment in top-notch shape. From quick facility repairs to troubleshooting specialized tools and gear, no two days are the same. Reports to: Warehouse Operations Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain rental equipment and items to meet company quality standards.
  • Perform scheduled and preventive maintenance on production equipment, tools, and facility systems.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure equipment meets standards.
  • Assist with machine deployments, upgrades, and relocations.
  • Perform repairs and troubleshoot issues on equipment, tools, and facility systems.
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized workspaces free of hazards.
  • Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, including regular inspections and overhauls.
  • Review technical documentation and collaborate with equipment vendors for recommendations and selection.
  • Submit requisitions and manage purchases of tools, equipment, and supplies within budget.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to support project completion.
  • Assist in training others on proper product and equipment usage.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members in a cooperative, supportive environment.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Schedule and Benefits:

  • Shift time: 6:00am – 2:30pm, Monday – Friday.
  • Evening/weekend availability depending on workload.
  • Possible overtime hours during the peak season.
  • Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) eligibility after 60 days.
  • 96 hours PTO annually (prorated based on hire date).

Work Conditions:

  • Work primarily performed in a warehouse environment; some areas may lack heating or air conditioning.
  • Occasional outdoor work may be required.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, paints, stains, cleaning chemicals, and machinery hazards.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in general maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and repairs.
  • Tow motor experience is a plus (training provided).
  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal) required.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of interpreting written, oral, diagram, or schedule-based instructions.
  • Physically able to stand, lift, and move for up to 8 hours daily in a warehouse environment.
  • Regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Occasional travel to other markets as needed.
  • Completion of the Predictive Index Behavioral and Cognitive Assessment required.
  • Must successfully pass a company background check and drug screen.
