Job Description
As a Security Officer Screening Clerk in Shepherdsville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will monitor entry activity, conduct screening procedures, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will help identify security-related concerns, remain visible throughout assigned areas, and deliver service with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Screen employees, visitors, and/or vendors entering the location by checking identification, credentials, bags, packages, and/or other authorized items in accordance with site policies.
- Monitor entry points, access control systems, and/or screening equipment to help support authorized access and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or suspicious conditions.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting conditions that may require attention in office, campus, warehouse, and/or other operational areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
