Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Shopping Centers in Tustin, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, offering the opportunity to support daily operations through mobile patrols, clear communication, and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, exterior walkways, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, high-traffic areas, and/or public gathering spaces, offer directions and assistance when needed, and report maintenance issues, suspicious behavior, and policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
