Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen people and/or items, and support routine patrol activity to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, bags, packages, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures, and report unusual findings or policy concerns to site leadership.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity to help support authorized access and security-related awareness throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting supervisors, local authorities, and/or emergency personnel when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas, screening stations, loading zones, and the perimeter, noting suspicious activity, unsecured access points, and/or operational issues for follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
