We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Facilities and Maintenance Manager. This individual plays a crucial role in our operations by ensuring optimal equipment functionality and facility maintenance. In this role, you will lead, mentor, and organize our hands-on maintenance team to ensure daily projects are completed safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include indoor and outdoor repairs, production machinery maintenance, and equipment upkeep. The Facilities and Maintenance Manager will assemble, maintain, repair, and prevent issues with our products and facilities. The ideal candidate will handle various tasks daily, adapting to the immediate needs of the business and company leadership.
Reports to: Warehouse Operations Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet production standards set by the Warehouse Operations Manager and company leadership.
- Maintain equipment/items to meet company standards.
- Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment and regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and the facility.
- Conduct quality control/inspection checks to ensure items meet company standards.
- Assist with machine deployments and upgrades.
- Repair and relocate equipment as needed.
- Ensure all equipment, tools, and work areas are hazard-free and in good working order.
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, including scheduling inspections and overhauls.
- Review technical materials and consult with equipment sales representatives for equipment selection or recommendations.
- Submit requisitions and purchase departmental tools, equipment, and supplies within the approved budget.
- Work with external suppliers and contractors to coordinate project completion.
- Assist in product training and teaching product operation.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting cooperation and teamwork.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Compensation, Schedule, and Benefits:
- Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
- The weekly schedule includes a 40–50-hour workweek.
- Shift times/schedule will be determined collaboratively with leadership.
- Possible overtime hours during the peak season.
- Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) eligibility after 60 days.
- 96 hours PTO annually (prorated based on hire date).
Work Conditions:
- Most work is performed in a warehouse setting, in which some work areas may not be heated or air-conditioned.
- Outdoor exposure may occur.
- Hot and cold extremes may be experienced in the warehouse.
- Frequent operation of equipment with potential hazards, requiring appropriate safety measures.
- Exposure to paints, stains, chemical coats, detergents, bleaches, and cleaning chemicals.
- Repetitive bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and 3-5 years of related experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general repair.
- Tow motor experience is a plus but will train.
- Proficiency in the English language (both written and verbal) is required.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job - sitting, standing, and lifting up to 8 hours a day in a warehouse environment.
- Regularly and repeatedly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
