Manufacturing Facilities & Equipment Specialist

Location: Fremont, CA (100% Onsite)

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Facilities & Equipment Specialist to help maintain critical building infrastructure, support production equipment, and ensure a safe, efficient manufacturing environment.

This position offers a unique combination of facilities maintenance, manufacturing equipment support, and environmental safety responsibilities. The ideal candidate enjoys troubleshooting complex mechanical systems, working with cross-functional teams, and keeping production running smoothly.

What You'll Do

\n

Facility Operations & Maintenance

\n

    \n
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building infrastructure and manufacturing support systems
  • \n

  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, mechanical equipment, pumps, and facility utilities
  • \n

  • Respond to maintenance requests to minimize production downtime
  • \n

  • Inspect facility systems and perform repairs throughout manufacturing and support areas
  • \n

  • Coordinate with external service providers for specialized maintenance projects
  • \n

\n

Environmental, Health & Safety Support

\n

    \n
  • Assist with the safe handling, storage, transportation, and disposal of chemicals and hazardous materials
  • \n

  • Maintain documentation for hazardous waste, chemical inventories, and environmental compliance
  • \n

  • Support waste collection, labeling, and storage activities in accordance with company procedures
  • \n

  • Follow OSHA, environmental, and site safety regulations while promoting a safe workplace
  • \n

  • Participate in facility compliance and environmental improvement initiatives
  • \n

\n

Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance

\n

    \n
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment used in advanced microelectronics production
  • \n

  • Support production tools including wafer processing equipment, steppers, die attach systems, and other precision manufacturing equipment
  • \n

  • Partner with Engineering and Production teams to improve equipment reliability and maximize uptime
  • \n

  • Complete equipment inspections, repairs, and maintenance documentation
  • \n

\n

What We're Looking For

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in semiconductor, microelectronics, cleanroom, or other high-tech manufacturing environments
  • \n

  • Experience supporting one or more of the following:
  • \n

  • Building and facilities maintenance
  • \n

  • Manufacturing equipment maintenance
  • \n

  • Hazardous materials or environmental compliance
  • \n

  • Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical and electrical systems
  • \n

  • Ability to interpret equipment manuals, drawings, and maintenance procedures
  • \n

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with shifting priorities
  • \n

Preferred Experience

\n

    \n
  • Semiconductor, MEMS, microelectronics, or cleanroom manufacturing experience
  • \n

  • Knowledge of facility utility systems, wastewater treatment, chemical delivery, or environmental systems
  • \n

  • Experience maintaining production equipment such as steppers, die attach systems, wafer processing equipment, or similar manufacturing tools
  • \n

  • OSHA, HAZWOPER, or other environmental and safety certifications
  • \n
