Project Engineer
Job Roles and Responsibilities

Maintain accurate project data and documentation within the project management system.

Perform quality control on project documentation and data entry.

Coordinate the distribution and tracking of project documents, RFIs, submittals, and design activities.

Assist with the preparation and review of commissioning specifications and project documentation.
-
Review technical design documents for quality and compliance.
-
Support the commissioning, testing, startup, and activation of building systems, including electrical, low-voltage, HVAC, plumbing, and related systems.
-
Witness system startup, testing, and commissioning activities.
-
Maintain commissioning issue logs and activation checklists.
-
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Assist with operational readiness activities, simulations, and lessons learned sessions.
-
Support project reporting, presentations, audits, and construction documentation.
-
Prepare daily construction reports and provide ongoing project support.
Qualifications and Certifications
-
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project engineering for design or construction projects.

At least 2 years of recent construction experience.

Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems is preferred.

Experience with design-build project delivery methods is preferred.

Proficiency with Primavera, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and Unifier.

Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
-
Experience supporting testing, commissioning, and activation of building systems is highly desirable.
