As a Security Officer - Security Clearance Required - Evenings in Beavercreek, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a defense industry location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and help confirm that entry and exit activity follows site requirements for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or vehicles.
- Document daily activity, incident information, and/or patrol findings in written reports, logs, and related systems as required by the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
