Job Summary
The Systems Test Engineer at client is responsible for supporting the verification, validation, and performance testing of complex medical device systems and integrated technologies for MedTech customers. This role partners with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure products meet functional, reliability, and regulatory requirements throughout the product development lifecycle. The Systems Test Engineer contributes to system-level testing activities, new product development, and continuous improvement initiatives within regulated engineering environments.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute system-level test plans, verification protocols, and engineering studies for complex medical device systems.
• Conduct prototyping, bench testing, debugging, and performance assessments to validate product functionality and reliability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering teams to support integration and product development activities.
• Develop and improve testing processes, fixtures, and automated test solutions utilizing tools such as MATLAB, LabVIEW, SolidWorks, and Minitab.
• Analyze system requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, document defects, and verify corrective actions throughout the product lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, design controls, risk management, and Quality Management System procedures.
• Perform statistical analysis, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and validation activities to support engineering and quality objectives.
• Document and communicate testing activities, technical findings, and engineering results to internal teams and customer stakeholders.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 0- 2 years of experience in systems testing, verification, validation, or engineering within a regulated industry environment.
• Strong technical writing skills with the ability to create reports, protocols, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
• Experience with system-level testing, defect tracking, verification, and validation activities preferred.
• Working knowledge of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, design controls, and risk management processes preferred.
• Experience with engineering and testing tools such as Minitab, MATLAB, LabVIEW, or SolidWorks preferred.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
