In this dynamic role, you will remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, checking credentials for employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors, and following emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, gates, lobbies, and/or shipping and receiving areas to help support authorized access and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols and preparing clear activity and incident reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for access issues, unsecured areas, and/or other security-related concerns in warehouse, distribution, and outdoor environments.
- Communicate with site contacts, transportation personnel, and/or operations staff regarding visitor processing, delivery activity, and access-related questions while following established post orders and policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- 1+ years of security-related experience required.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Loss prevention experience preferred.
- Access control and badge experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
